Nothing goes to waste in nature.
Said goodbye to November with a road ride in the rain. Said hello to December on wet, fast, foothills singletrack on the singlespeed. In 3 hours riding got 31 miles, and over 3,500 feet of climbing. Pace was steady, but I’ll take it for December, carrying a few extra pounds.

Cool seeing the 2 of you out on the trails again. It's becoming a weekend habit! :)
Glad we ran into you to say hello!
I never tried a Fire XC Pro for singlespeed because I jumped up to 29er shortly after. I'll bet that is a trusty rear tire. On 26er I did like a meaty tire in the rear - I ran the Fat Albert on my Iguana and the Mobster on the Airborne. With 29er you don't need it so much.
I've been real happy with the Panaracer, and for $19 on sale, I couldn't pass it up.
