Fat tire adventures and other stuff

Friday, April 06, 2007

A Cedtero kind of Friday. Cedro, Otero, and Cedro again. Took the geared bike. Weather was crazy. First warm and sunny, then windy and cold. Must have been a 30 degree temp swing. Anyway, I rode 40 miles, climbed 5,093 feet, with the average heart rate at 142bpm, and I burned about 3,000 calories and I'll be out on the trails again tomorrow. Excellent.

Nice! How is the Tunnel trail and otero doing these days? I wouldn't mind getting down there soon.

Hey Tim,
Tunnel, Otero, and all the trails at Cedro were in Nice shape and rolling well.

Let me know when you're coming down and we can see about getting a ride going out there.

Great Googly Moogly man...that's a lot of climbing...and like two whole days of groceries you burned through in calories.

Way to go man.

Keith-I think I earned my "adult malted beverage" that day!

Matt-Thanks. Not the blistering pace you can throw down, but it was good to be out there and hopefully we won't be seeing FS closures this year.
